To provide an attachment of a hydraulic shovel capable of preventing a non-welded section from being left in a welded part by only being welded from an outer side without opening a tip deeply and increasing the strength of the welded part, and fatigue strength.
A boom body 41 of a boom 40 constituting the attachment 1 of the hydraulic shovel 10 is formed by welding an upper plate 45, a lower plate 46, a side plate 47, and a side plate 48 by hybrid welding. The hybrid welding enables deeper melting when compared with the case that only either arc welding and laser welding is applied. Consequently, it is possible to prevent a non-welded section from being left in the welded part 41w by only being welded from the outer side of the attachment 1. In the case that the non-welded section is eliminated, the strength of the welded part 41w and the fatigue strength of the attachment 1 can be increased when compared with the case that the non-welded section is left.
