Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attach a pad without damaging a temperature measuring part by welding and annealing thin receiving plates having relatively good bonding to a steam generating steel pipe and then welding the pad on the receiving plates. CONSTITUTION:Thin receiving plates 3 (3a, 3b) made of 2.25Cr-1Mo having relatively good bonding to a steam generating steel pipe 1 formed by 9Cr-1Mo steel are welded to pad attaching positions of the steel pipe 1, and they are annealed (at approximately 740+ or -15 deg.C). The receiving plates 3 are attached to the steel pipe 1 with good adhesion. Then a pad 4 and a strap 5 are respectively welded to the receiving plates 3a, 3b on a working site, whereby a thermocouple 2 is attached to the steel pipe 1. Since the pad 4 is thus welded on the receiving plate 3 having relatively good bonding provided on the steel pipe 1, annealing of the pad 4 is not necessary so that the pad 4 can be attached to the steel pipe 1 without damaging a temperature measuring part of the thermocouple 2.
