Abstract:
In attachment structure for motor assembly, accommodating portion (5) with a bottom is formed in housing (1) such that the motor assembly including commutator motor and brush holder unit (20) is accommodated therein with the brush holder unit (20) facing downward. Receiving portion (6) for positioning the brush holder unit (20) is formed in the accommodating portion (5). Abutment portion (26) is formed on the brush holder unit (20) for positioning between stator (11) and the brush holder unit (20). The motor assembly is positioned within the accommodating portion (5) such that the brush holder unit (20) is in contact with the receiving portion (6) and that the stator (11) and the brush holder unit (20) are brought into contact with each other through the abutment portion (26). Fixing member (8, 9) is inserted from an open side of the housing (1), brought into contact with the stator (11), and fixed to the housing (1), so that the motor assembly is interposed between the fixing member (8, 9) and the receiving portion (6).
