Abstract:
To provide an attachment structure of a water injection device of an internal combustion engine which can prevent water leaking due to failure of the water injection device from entering into a combustion chamber while securing water injection by the water injection device to an intake port.SOLUTION: An attachment structure of water injector 11 of an internal combustion engine 1 is attached to an intake port 6 of the internal combustion engine 1 mounted on a vehicle and injects water W to an interior of the intake port 6 during operation of the internal combustion engine 1. The water injector 11 has: a body part 12 attached to the intake port 6; and an injection port 13a which is provided at a tip of the body part 12 while facing the interior of the intake port 6 and injects the water W. The intake port 6 has an inclined wall 21 for blocking water from flowing to the downstream side of the intake port 6 when the water leaks out from the injection port 13a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
