To provide an attachment for video tape robbery prevention, which can be stored in a storage case and can be arranged in a store, by providing engagement pawls engaged to more than one holes among a position restriction hole, an emitter insertion hole, a loading guide insertion notch and a square notch.

A pair of rectangular windows 23a are formed in parts at the height of 9.5-14.5mm from the surface of the substrate 23 of a second guide member 23, namely, the part which is partially matched with the light-emitting window of the emitter insertion hole. An almost U-shaped engagement pawl body 28 is installed in the second guide member 23 by facing the front in a state where it is engaged to the respective windows 23a. Namely, the engagement pawls 28a in trapezoidal shapes are formed by facing the front on the outer side of both trailing parts of the engagement pawl body 28. When the engagement pawl body 28 is inserted into the second guide member 23, the engagement pawls 28a are engaged into the respective windows 23a of the second guide member 23 and the engagement pawl body 28 is engaged. Thus, the attachment is directly fitted to the video tape and it prevents robbery in cooperation with a magnetic detector.
