An employee connects an imprint data generation terminal 20 disposed at a working place to a cellular phone 10 owned itself at attending and leaving times. At this point, the terminal 20 acquires time data with reference to an inner time function and also acquires the telephone number of the connected phone 10, then, generates to encrypt the imprint data in which time data, the phone number, identification data of the terminal 20 and correction information, if it exists, are gathered. The encrypted imprint data is transmitted as e-mail to an imprint data recording device 50 from the cellular phone 10 via a network. The recording device 50 receives and decrypts the imprint data to record it. The authentication of the employee is conducted with the phone number and the authentication of the working place is conducted with the identification data.
