To provide an attendance management system that prevents congestion in a gate even when many employees get off a commuter bus and rush through the gate of a working place.
The attendance management system includes: an identification card reader provided in the commuter bus for employees to the working place, to read identification information corresponding to the employee from an identification card of the employee; a managing card reader provided in the commuter bus, to write the identification information corresponding to each of the employees into a managing card each time the identification card reader reads the identification card of each of the employees; and a managing card reader provided near the gate of the working place, to read the identification information corresponding to each of the employees from the managing card, and output it to a management device for managing attendance of the employees.
