A device is constituted so as to control an attitude of an artificial satellite 22 with a roll axis which is an advancing direction of the artificial satellite 22, yaw axis toward a direction of the center of the earth 21 and a pitch axis respectively orthogonal to the roll/way axis serving as the reference. Here a light antenna 23 receiving light of a fixed star and a light detector 24 detecting light detected by this light antenna 23 and detecting a direction of the fixed star are provided, by utilizing the direction of the fixed star detected by this light detector 24, control relating to the yaw axis is performed.
