PURPOSE: To reduce the time relating to initial search wherein the attitude for obtaining a proper reception level is set as short as possible by providing first control means for driving an antenna via driving means, second driving means for storing the elevation position of the antenna in memory means and initial search control means for driving the antenna for initial search.
CONSTITUTION: First control means 4 drive an antenna Ant in a direction wherein the attitude misalignment of the antenna Ant due to the attitude change of a moving object with respect to a radio source is corrected according to the attitude change of the moving object. Prior to the start of an attitude correction thus effected, initial search control means drive the antenna Ant for initial search over a region smaller than the whole searching range with upper and lower criterion with the elevation position of a memory as a reference until the received signal level BSs of a receiver BSR exceeds a second set value alternately via driving means 141 and 151. Further, since second control means 4 store the elevation position of the antenna Ant when the received signal level BSs of a receiver BSR exceeds a first set value, the probability that a reception level is proper at that time is high and therefore an initial search time is reduced.
