To provide an acoustic apparatus which can increase a driving force generated in a coil facing a magnetic field generating section by increasing the ratio of a magnetic field generating section mounting space to an entire component mounting space.
A speaker includes the magnetic field generating section 3, a coil facing the magnetic field generating section 3, and a diaphragm to which the coil is fixed wherein the diaphragm oscillates in an oscillating direction Q when a current flows through the coil. The magnetic field generating section 3 includes a center magnet 31 formed in the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped and magnetized in the oscillating direction Q, side magnets 32 formed in the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped and magnetized in the oscillating direction Q and arranged to hold the center magnet 31 therebetween in the direction X intersecting the oscillating direction Q perpendicularly, and intermediate magnets 33 formed in the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped and magnetized in the perpendicularly intersecting direction X and arranged between the center magnet 31 and the side magnet 32 in the perpendicularly intersecting direction X.
