To provide an audio jack capable of avoiding breakage of a contact part by providing high strength to the abutting part for inserting a mating plug.

This audio jack includes an insulation housing and plural flake- like terminals. Cylindrical contact parts are projected on the front end face of the insulation housing. A jack piercing the insulation housing is mounted to each contact part. A mating plug is inserted into the jack. A housing slot is formed in a side wall adjacent to a surface having the contact parts formed. The housing slot pierces a side wall of the insulation housing and communicates with the jack. Each flake-like terminal has a grounding terminal housed in the housing slot, one end of the terminal is projected at a position where the housing slot communicates with the jack, and connected to the mating plug. The other end thereof is extended from the side wall and mounted to a circuit board.
