Abstract:

To prevent content recorded in a detachable recording medium from being illegally reproduced by a third person.

When a power source of a voice reproducing/reproduction device is turned on while a device lock function is enabled to prohibit an operation to voice data recorded in a detachable memory card 100 until predetermined conditions are satisfied by an operation switch group 24, an encryption function is automatically enabled, and the input voice data are encrypted by an encryption part 17A, and recorded in the memory card 100 under the control of a CPU 15.
