A detachable electroacoustic transducing element 122 is connected to a connector 110. An audio signal generating part generates an audio signal to be output from the electroacoustic transducing element 122. A coupling capacitor C1 is provided between an output terminal 102 of the audio signal generating part and the connector 110. A switch SW 1 is provided between a connection point 106 between the coupling capacitor C1 and the connector 110, and a ground terminal. A switch control part 14 turns off the switch SW 1 when the electroacoustic transducing element 122 is connected to the connector 110 and turns on the switch SW 1 when the electroacoustic transducing element 122 is not connected.
