To provide an auger head easily pulled out by preventing a casing from being caught by an H-section steel even if there is a buried material such as the H-section steel adjacent to the auger head in excavation.
This auger head 10 is provided with a rotatable shaft part 1, and auger screw 2 spirally provided around the circumference of the shaft part 1, and an annular member 3 provided with its tip part inserted in the tip part of the auger screw 2 and rotating about the shaft part 1 by the rotation of the shaft part 1. A tapered part 31 inclined downward toward the outside is formed over the whole circumference of the upper edge of the annular member 3, so that the auger head 10 can be easily pulled out without being caught by the buried material.
