Abstract:
To provide an authentication device for outputting information that can be used for determining whether or not location information may be spoofed.SOLUTION: An authentication server (2) is provided with an image acquisition unit (210) that acquires a photographed image obtained by photographing an authentication target person together with position information indicating a photographing position in which the face of the authentication target person is photographed, a face authentication unit (212) that authenticates the authentication target person by using the face image of the authentication target person included in the image, and a background comparison unit (214) that identifies assumption background information on the background of the authentication target person assumed to be reflected in the photographed image based on the position information and that compares the assumption background information with actual background information on the background of the authentication target person actually reflected in the photographed image, a communication device (23) that outputs information showing an authentication result of the authentication target person and information indicating a comparison result between the assumption background information and the actual background information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
