Abstract:
To provide an authentication method, an authentication system, a device, and a program that enable even a blind user or a user whose hands are busy with driving, cooking, parenting, delivery etc., to perform authentication.SOLUTION: An authentication method includes authenticating whether an object user is a specific user who is already registered. The authentication method comprises a first step and a second step. In the first step, voice in a predetermined character string is output from a speaker 23. After the first step, in the second step, the voice that the object user utters is received by a microphone 21 to acquire voice information, and it is determined from the voice information whether the object user is a specific user. In the second step, at least two determinations are made. The first determination is to determine that a character string recognized from the voice information matches the predetermined character string. The second determination is to determine that a feature quantity recognized from the voice information matches a feature quantity of voice information previously registered as a voice of the specific user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
