PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a waiting time before a game device in an amusement facility is actually used.SOLUTION: An authentication system includes: a storage part for storing user information in which authentication data for authenticating an individual is associated with each user; a user selection part for selecting a user located in an amusement facility from a plurality of users set in the user information; a server equipped with a communication part for transmitting biological data associated with the user selected by the user selection part to a game device in the amusement facility where the user authentication is executed through a communication network; a device communication part for receiving the authentication data associated with the user selected by the user selection part through the communication network; an authentication data input part for acquiring the user's own authentication data input by the user located in the amusement facility; and a game device equipped with a user authentication part where the authentication data received by the device communication part and the authentication data acquired by the authentication data input part are compared for user authentication.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
