Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a follow-up property of an actual vehicle speed to a set vehicle cruising speed during driving by an auto-cruising apparatus.
SOLUTION: Based on the running load degree, which is the deviation of the actual driving torque TDSACT from the reference driving torque TRLACT, in other words, the load generated in excess of that at normal driving due to inclination of a driving road, a driving torque output instruction value- computing means M4 computes driving torque output command value TDSCMD. Based on the driving toque output command value TDSCMD computed in consideration of the running load degree and the actual vehicle speed V, a first shift determining means M61 judges whether a shift is necessary or not, and based on the judgment, a shift controlling means M7 controls the shift of a transmission. A engine output command value-computing means M9 computes the engine output command value TECND based on the driving torque output command value TDSCMD, the shift step of the transmission, and the torque converter torque amplifying ratio KTRACT.
