Abstract:
To provide a brush that remarkably improves working efficiency, by eliminating the need for replacement and adjustment although the brush is worn.SOLUTION: A rotary shaft 4 is attached to a spindle of a rotary machine for brush polishing. A tip of a brush 2 is brought into contact with a workpiece W according to automated control, and further, is moved downward by a prescribed amount from that position. The brush 2 is pressed against the workpiece W with constant force, so that the workpiece W is polished or ground by the brush 2. When the polishing or grinding progresses so that the brush 2 is worn, the brush 2 is pushed out together with a base plate 3 from inside a body fitting 1 according to force of a coil spring 10. The base plate 3 moves in an axial direction with respect to the body fitting 1 under guidance of a guide mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
