PURPOSE: To obtain an auto-focusing mechanism of a mount film where the structure is simple and the feed precision is high by using a mechanism which is driven with a measured focus signal or the like.
CONSTITUTION: When information of the extent of vertical movement of an AF table 5 for focusing of a mount film 6 is sent from a control part, a pulse motor M1 is rotated. If the table 5 should fall (in the direction of an arrow N), a shaft 2 is rotated in the direction of an arrow K. A right-handed screw is provided in a part 23 of the shaft 2, and a block 4A moves the table 5 in the direction of the arrow L. Similarly, a block 4B is moved in the direction of an arrow M. Consequently, the table 5 is moved for a prescribed extent in the direction of the arrow N and is stopped to complete the focusing of the film 6. When the motor M1 is rotated reverse, the table 5 rises. Since the rotation of the motor M1 rotated by pulses is converted to the lateral movement of blocks 4A and 4B through the screw and is converted to the vertical movement of the table 5, the position of the table 5 is adjusted with a very high precision.
