Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the tracking (focusing) accuracy at the time of zooming, in a video movie in which an inner focusing lens is adopted.
CONSTITUTION: The tracking curve at the time of zooming of an inner focusing lens is different for each subject distance. Accordingly, if the focusing lens is moved along the tracking curve at the time of zooming, focusing condition is maintained; however, on the wide-angle side (f0 to fm) (not shown), the depth of focus is deep, and the purposed tracking curve cannot be selected. Therefore, when zooming is carried out in this condition, focusing cannot be assured. Thus, in this region, tracking is carried out by wobbling so as to transfer to a tracking curve that has been previously prepared at the point fm (not shown).
