Abstract:
To provide an autolens meter for calculating a refractive index of a lens to be tested and for displaying the result.
The lens meter has an input means, capable of easily inputting values of radius of curvature of each surface of the lens and center thickness which are obtained by using a meter for radius of curvature and thickness meter for lens possessed by eyeglass stores. The refraction index of the lens is calculated from the input values and the refracting power value measured by the lens meter, and they are displayed on a screen.
