Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated driving system capable of notifying the surrounding that automated driving is being performed in automated driving of a vehicle such as an automobile.SOLUTION: An automated driving system 1 that causes a user's vehicle to travel by automated driving according to a scheduled travel action along a scheduled travel route to a destination that has been established beforehand is provided with an outward notification device 3 for performing a notification operation when an automobile 14 is brought into an automated driving mode. The outward notification device 3 notifies by generating a sound and a melody, or appealing to a visual sense in the surrounding by a display device 20. Also, it is possible to transmit the data indicating that automated driving is being performed to other vehicles using a communication device 16 for the outward notification device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
