To provide an automated excretion-treating device which prevents waste materials from falling when a waste material tank is separated from a connecting pipe.
A step part 4a is formed along the circumference on the peripheral surface of an end part of the connecting pipe 4, and a rising part of the step part 4a is formed on a tapered surface 4b. A tapered surface 4c which gradually reduces the diameter toward the end is provided on the inner peripheral surface of an end part of the opening. A step part 2c is formed along the circumference on the inner peripheral surface at the end part of the opening of a connecting opening 2b in the waste material tank 2, and a waste material scratching means 23 is provided at the step part 2c. The scratching means 23 comprises a ring member formed of, for example an elastic material, and a fin 23a is provided at the peripheral part of the ring member. The fin 23a moves along the step part 4a of the connecting pipe when the waste material tank 2 is separated. Consequently, the waste material adhering to the step part 4a is scratched off, and the waste material accumulated in a gap between the step part 4a and the connecting opening 2b is removed. Then, the waste materials are housed in the waste material tank 2.
