Abstract:
To provide an automated external defibrillator which can be unerringly used in any situations and is easy to use.
The automated external defibrillator uses a rechargeable battery 7 which can be quickly charged as a power source of an AED body 1, and receives the connection of an external charging portion 14 with the AED body 1 mounted on a storage frame 8, permits the rechargeable battery 7 to be continuously used by constantly charging the rechargeable battery 7 to the full charge. As the incorporated chargeable battery 7, a lithium ion secondary battery which can be quickly charged by a 10 C or higher current is used.
