Abstract:
To provide an unmanned carrier which can easily change a travel path from a first guide line to a second guide line through a non-guide line section with no guide line provided on the way of the travel path.SOLUTION: In front of a non-guide line section from a section where an unmanned carrier travels while detecting a first guide line 41 by an on-vehicle guide sensor to a section where the unmanned carrier travels while detecting a second guide line 42 by the on-vehicle guide sensor, the unmanned carrier learns a travel direction based on odometry information while detecting the first guide line 41 by the on-vehicle guide sensor while traveling at a straight line of a travel direction learning section starting from its detection of a mark 43 provided on a road surface, and sets a virtual guide line Lvg1 in the non-guide line section. Thus, the unmanned carrier travels along the virtual guide line Lvg1 in the non-guide line section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
