Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve variety of problems that are occurred due to differences in a cornering radius of an automated guided vehicle from a targeted value.
SOLUTION: A cornering angle detecting means e.g. a gyrocompass detects a cornering angle of the vehicle. When the cornering angle detected by the detecting means becomes a predetermined angle, a cornering completion decision means decides to complete an automated cornering. When the decision means for deciding that the automated cornering should be completed, a switching means switches the vehicle from the automated cornering to a straight guided running. Accordingly, an attitude angle of the vehicle body can be maintained continuously in parallel with a straight guide after the automated cornering.
