Abstract:
To provide an automated machine monitoring apparatus that causes an automated teller machine to eliminate a jam of a banknote.SOLUTION: An automated machine monitoring apparatus 500 connected to a plurality of automated teller machines 100 by a network NW and monitoring a failure that has occurred in the automated teller machine comprises a monitoring control part 510 that controls recovery processing corresponding to a type of the failure that has occurred for the automated teller machine in which the failure has occurred, on the basis of failure information notified from the automated teller machine. The monitoring control part includes a jam removal processing part for eliminating the jam when the failure that has occurred is a banknote jam. The jam removal processing part sets a part in a banknote conveyance path provided with a bill detection sensor in the immediate vicinity of the position of the jam as a re-movable position, and controls the automated teller machine to eliminate the jam by moving the jamming banknote to the re-movable position once.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
