The automated meter reading system utilizes an electronic power amount meter 2 for recording the measurement result of the object to be measured such as electricity, and also transmitting data of the measurement result to the management system 1 of a management center A which manages the object to be measured. The automated meter reading system includes a printer 3 which is used by being connection to the electronic power amount meter 2, prints data of the measurement result in a prescribed period which is recorded by the electronic power amount meter 2 when the data are transmitted, and then, issues the printed data as the notification of a meter reading result.
