PURPOSE: To provide a compact and quiet device for inserting advertisements in newspapers.

CONSTITUTION: The upper ends of advertisements 100 and newspapers 101 folded in four piles slantly piled in the same direction are almost aligned on a slant same plane and the advertisements 100 are located higher than the newspapers and the newspapers are opened at their four folds by a sucker 31 for opening newspaper and each adversement lifted by a sucker 30 for advertisement is slid and inserted in the opened part along the slant and this inserted newspaper 102 is lifted by a sucker 32 for inserted newspaper and slid along the slant alike and piled on an inserted newspaper storage 6. A noise generated from a negative pressure source is extremely reduced by utilizing the negative pressure side of the air cylinder whose piston is reciprocated by a motor as the negative pressure source for these respective suckers.
