Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method for stably determining whether or not bubbles are present within a prescribed range in correspondence to various imaging situations such as various types of test tube or cups, etc.SOLUTION: Provided is an automatic analyzer comprising a processing device, a memory, an input/output interface, and a bus connected these, wherein the input/output interface receives a captured image obtained by a camera that images a container in which a liquid is contained, the memory stores the captured image, and the processing device executes a high luminance area extraction process for extracting each of high luminance areas of the captured image, a statistical quantity acquisition process for acquiring, for each of the high luminance areas extracted by the high luminance area extraction process, a statistical quantity that represents the image position and shape of each area, a bubble range estimation process for estimating a range of bubbles with regard to a high luminance area separated from bubble candidates out of the high luminance area separated by a high luminance area separation process, and a bubble determination process for determining whether or not bubbles are present in a prescribed range on the basis of the result of estimating the range of bubbles by the bubble range estimation process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
