Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize an automatic analyzer which can prevent a sample liquid from scattering outside the body of an analysis section and contamination of a lid, an operation panel and the like of the body of the analysis section to be caused by an operator.
CONSTITUTION: A cover opening/closing judging section 110 judges the opening or closing of a cover 9 based on a signal from a sensor 19. An opening/closing command judging section 111 judges whether a command is provided to open or close the cover with foot switches 10 and 11 for indicating the opening or closing of the cover 9. An analysis operation start/stop judging section 114 judges whether a command is given to start or stop analysis operation with foot switches 12 and 5 for indicating the starting or stopping of analysis operation. An opening/closing drive command section 112 gives a command to open or close the cover 9 only during the stoppage of the analysis operation. An analysis operation judging section 115 gives a command to start analysis operation only when the cover 9 is closed. This prevents accidental opening of the cover 9 during the analysis operation and accidental execution of the analysis operation while the cover 9 is open.
