Abstract:
The invention provides an automatic analyzer capable of quickly replacing a reagent bottle while preventing the reagent bottle from being reversely placed. The automatic analyzer includes a housing unit 3 capable of housing a plurality of reagent bottles 4 each of which is formed in a rectangular parallelepiped shape and has an IC tag 29 on one surface of short-side side surfaces thereof, an antenna 37 used to communicate with the IC tag, a detector 38 that detects the presence or absence of a reagent bottles, and a control unit 28. The housing unit 3 includes a housing container 33 cooled by a cooling machine 35, a heat insulating material 34 covering the periphery of the housing container, a reagent tray 30 provided with a plurality of reagent bottle holding portions that hold the reagent bottles, a disk 32 rotatably holding the reagent tray, and a driving unit 36 driving the disk, and when it is unable to communicate with the IC tag of the reagent bottle installed in the reagent bottle holding portion where the reagent bottle is detected by the detector, the control unit 28 determines that the reagent bottle is installed in a reverse direction.
