PURPOSE: To make it possible to feed reagent liquids for a plurality of analysis items with a simple feed mechanism, by making the reagent suction/discharge part, which moves along the arrangement of reagent liquid tanks, reciprocate between a given positon on the reaction vessel transfer path and the reagent storage part.
CONSTITUTION: When the sample suction/discharge tube 41 of a samplig mechanism 40 sucks and holds a sample from a sample suction position 44 on a sample table 11 and discharges the holding sample to a sample discharge position 45, a line of reaction vessels 22 are transferred so as to cross a light beam 26. According to the control by a microcomputer 51, the reagents corresponding to the analysis items of the samples reaching discharge positions 46 and 47 are selected by means of reagent pipetting parts 36 and 37, and given amounts of reagent liquids are sucked and held in suction/discharge tubes 38 and 39 from reagent liquid tanks 31 and 31'. Then, the suction/discharge tubes 38 and 39 are horizontally moved to the reagent discharge positions 46 and 47 to discharge the reagent liquids into corresponding reaction vessels. Thereby, reagents for a plurality of analysis items can be fed to reaction vessels with a simple constitution. Accordingly, the analyzer can be miniaturized.
