To provide an apparatus for automatically accumulating articles supplied from a manufacturing apparatus and automatically stacking the same on a pallet.

This automatic article accumulating and stacking apparatus is composed of: a first transport device 9 for transporting a supplied article G on the next table 10; a second transport device 14 for repeating the transport and return of a suitable number of articles G transported on the next table 10 in the right-angled direction to the transport direction of the first transport device 9 and accumulating a predetermined number of articles on a slide table 15 provided adjacent to the tip of the next table; and a stopper 24 locked on the predetermined number of articles G to inhibit return of the article G when the slide table 15 advanced to the pallet elevating device 20 returns. Preferably the apparatus includes an interleaf paper feeder for feeding an interleaf paper on the accumulated article G on the pallet provided on one side of the pallet elevating device 20.
