To provide an automatic ashtray device which automatically opens a lid part of the ashtray without being touched by hand when a person wants to smoke tobacco or as soon as the person starts smoking tobacco.
A control device 50 is connected to a motor 52 for opening/closing a smoke sensor 48 and the lid part 16 of the ashtray. When smoke generated in a cabin is sensed by the smoke sensor 48, a signal is outputted to the control device 50. When the signal from the smoke sensor 48 is inputted in the control device 50, the control device 50 drives the motor 52 to automatically open the lid part 16 of the ashtray and makes the astray into a use state. As a result, the lid part 16 is of the ashtray is opened without being touched by the hand as soon as the person starts smoking tobacco, and thereby this device is very convenient.
