To automatically assemble a die by receiving one end surface of a holder with a holder supporting part in a assembling device table, pressing a die placed on the table in the direction of the holder supporting part with a pushing cylinder having a holder detecting sensor and providing with a holding cylinder having a die detecting sensor in the position opposing to the pushing cylinder.
The holder is carried into the holder supporting part 2. The die is carried on a die support 5 with a picking device. The holding cylinder 4 is advanced, thrusted to the front surface of the die, whereby loosening of the die is prevented. The clamp of the picking device is released to ascend. The pushing cylinder 3 is advanced to push the die into the holder. The die is incorporated into the holder and the die is completed. The die is grasped with a picking device and carried to the extruder. Each operation is sensed with the sensor and transmitted to a controller, the die is automatically assembled according to a previously set sequence.
