Abstract:

To provide a lens unit assembling system and an assembling method for effectively and significantly reducing production costs.

This system has a main workstation 10 with a plurality of clamp units periodically acting in a predetermined transfer direction; a body tube place for placing a plurality of body tubes and a body tube transfer means 21; a body tube supply station 20 sequentially transferring the body tubes to each of clamp units; a lens place for placing a plurality of lenses and a lens transfer means 31; lens supply stations 30A, 30B, 30C, 30D inserting each of the lenses in each of the body tubes held by the clamp units and sequentially transferring each of the lenses to the respective clamp units; a lens unit transfer means 51; and a lens unit delivery station 50 sequentially transferring the assembled lens units held by the clamp units to the lens unit place.
