Title:
AUTOMATIC ASSEMBLY BODY OF THREE-DIMENSIONAL MOVABLE STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3448646
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic assembly body of a three-dimensional structure independently deformable in a free shape, freely movable and capable of performing various work in an ultimate environment such as a space and a nuclear reactor by using a large number of units having the same structure.
SOLUTION: Joining-separating devices composed of a permanent magnet 57, a conical coil spring 51 and a shape memory alloy spring 52 are arranged in opposed both side surface parts 10, 11 and an end surface part 7 forming a right angle relative to both side surfaces by being sandwiched between the parts so as to be respectively and independently actuated. This automatic assembly is provided with a first joining member 2 having a connecting recessed part 12 between both side surface parts and a second joining member 3 having the permanent magnet and the connecting recessed part in the both side surface parts and the end surface part, and is provided with a connecting driving member 4 having both ends rotatably connected to the connecting recessed part 12 of both the joining members 2, 3 and having a motor for relatively rotating the respective joining members on the inside. These units are joined in a plurality. Joining-separating operation is individually independently performed. The motor is driven to impart the function of moving while deforming the whole structure in various shapes.
