Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a resuscitation rate by arranging adjusting knobs or touch keys for creating optional. ventilation time, ventilation waveform change and ventilation time phase delay in correspondence with the heart flaccidity of a patient, on the surface of an automatic cardiopulmonary resuscitator near the chest.
SOLUTION: This automatic cardiopulmonary resuscitator is put on a patient lying on his back on a back plate 1. At this time, adjusting knobs or touch keys 4 for creating optional ventilation time ventilation waveform change and ventilation time phase delay are arranged on the surface of the automatic cardiopulmonary resuscitator 3 near the chest side faces and shoulders of the patient 2. With this arrangement an operator operating the adjusting knobs or touch keys 4 during cardiopulmonary resuscitation work can immediately adjust ventilating conditions and the like while observing the state of the patient. Resuscitation efficiency is therefore improved. An orifice is used for adjustment, for instance, to adjust ventilating time and the like. The patient can therefore be ventilated sufficiently, and a resusciation rate can be improved.
