Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the payment of bills and coins in the same input port and to prevent a coin or foreign matter from being left in a cash input part, or carried with the bills to obstruct the bill carrying or damage a device.
SOLUTION: Of the bills 117, coins 118 and foreign matters put in a cash input port 101, most of the coins and foreign matters are fallen to a coin guide 107 through the clearances of several bill holding bars 105. The coin or foreign matter bridged over the bill holding bars is also shaken by the eccentric rotating motion of the bill holding bars, and fallen to the coin guide. The bill put between a bill presser 103 and a front guide 104 and moved to the right is delivered above by a pick roller 108. The left coins or foreign matters cannot be passed through between a coin separation guide 111 and a front guide receiving plate 119, and are separated from the bills and fallen. Finally, the bill presser is opened to fall all the left coins to the coin guide.
