PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save space by specifying the height from the installation surface of a transporting line for transporting test body samples to a specific value and specifying the height of an automatic centrifuge from the installation surface to a specific value.
SOLUTION: Even if the height H1 of the transporting line 4 is too low or too high, the workability and more particularly the maintenance in case of the occurrence of trouble in the transporting line are poor. The height at which an operator of an average height easily carries out the work both in a standing posture and a sitting posture on a chair is preferable. The height H1 of the transporting line 4 is suitably above 750 mm and below 850 mm, about the height of a desk. The projection of part of a horizontal shaft like that of an orthogonal type handling device to the transporting line 4 side is obviated and the projection of a perpendicular shaft for upward motion is prevented by adopting the handling device 5 of a link arm mechanism. The height of the automatic centrifuge 1 is made smaller than the height 1,450 mm of a visual line when a female operator of an average height is in a standing posture.
