PURPOSE: To find out the external non-operation beforehand and to control the working history of a switchgear by selecting such a switchgear as to be operated without power failure of a distribution system based on the information of a present system owned by a system information storing device and by operating the selected switchgear automatically.
CONSTITUTION: When a switchgear automatic checking device 14 checks a switchgear of a distribution system automatically, it selects distribution lines liable for checking from a table of a history storing device 13 and then delivers to a switching procedure preparing device 15 the information about a virtual faulty section on the distribution lines liable for checking. Based on the flexibility procedure found by the switchig procedure preparing device 15, such a switchgear as to be operated without power failure of the distribution system is selected and the selected switchgear is operated automatically. And it is decided whether something is wrong with the switchgear or not and the result is stored in the history storing device 13. By this method, labor for switchgear checking can be saved without troubling the operator of the distribution system.
