PURPOSE: To permit thorough cleaning of a lens by disposing surface bodies having fur surfaces which move relatively with the front face and rear face of the lens and forming these surfaces so as to comply with the shapes of the lens.
CONSTITUTION: A cap 30 is removed from a body case 20 and the contact lens with the convex face positioned upward is placed on the surface body 53 having the fur surface. A cleaning liquid is then put into a case and the cap 30 is closed. Since the surface curvature of the fur-like concave face 43a of the surface 43 fixed to the cap 30 is set larger than the surface curvature on the concave face side of the contact lens, the concave face 43a is in contact with the part near the central part of the concave face of the contact lens. Since the surface curvature of the convex face 53a of the surface body 53 is set smaller than the surface curvature on the convex face side of the contact lens, the convex face 53a is in contact with the part near the central part of the contact lens. The cleaning of the contact lens is thereby permitted without exerting excessive force to the contact lens.
