Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically operate a clutch valve using oil pressure of a low pressure oil passage in a hydrostatic pressure type continuously variable transmission of such constitution that a hydraulic pump and a hydraulic motor are connected through the low pressure oil passage and a high pressure oil passage and that a clutch valve that can release the oil pressure of the high pressure oil passage is connected to the high pressure oil passage.
SOLUTION: A hydraulic governor 80 that intensifies the oil pressure of a make-up feed oil passage L in response to the increase of input rotating speed of a hydraulic pump is connected to the make-up feed oil passage L for make-up feeding oil pressure from a make-up pump 69 to a low pressure oil passage 50 through a check valve 74 by making the oil pressure of the low pressure oil passage 50 act upon a clutch valve 78 so as to energize it in the opening direction.
