PURPOSE: To easily set the automatic coating device on a vertical surface to be coated by opposing a guide rail hung from a hanger on the surface to be coated and holding the device at a fixed distance from the surface by a stabilizer.
CONSTITUTION: Spray guns 12 and 13 for ejecting a coating are horizontally set on a guide rail 2 hung from a hanger 1 and extending to the left and right, and a truck 4 provided with an oscillating device 14 for oscillating the guns 12 and 13 to the left and right is horizontally and movably loaded by a traversing device 8. A stabilizer 26 having a magnet 29 for attracting the surface 20 to be coated in a non-contact state and a guide roller 31 arranged around the magnet 29 and contacting with the surface 20 is provided below the guide rail 2. Consequently, the device is easily set on the vertical surface to be coated, and coating is carried out with precision.
