PURPOSE: To improve the reliability for connecting a lead wire to an enameled wire of stator winding and to enhance the productivity.
CONSTITUTION: A stator with the ends of enameled wires already set is put on a carrier 1 and carried to an enameled wire cutting unit A, enameled wire peeling unit B, enamel removing unit C, lead wire set unit D, enameled wire winding unit E, lead wire twisting unit F, lead wire tips cutting unit G, TIG welding unit H and conductance check unit I in this order, and the enameled wires are automatically connected to the lead wires. At the enameled wire peeling unit B and enamel removal unit C, the enamel film is peeled off and removed from the enameled wires by high frequency heating. By doing this, the conductors of the enameled wires are led out without damage and oxidation, so that the strength of the connections is increased.
