PURPOSE: To omit correction calculation for dislocation by irradiating a laser of good convergence perpendicular on the surface of a connector to irradiate very small area, and by measuring variation in distance to a sensor generated from a solder pot or a projection like a pin insertion hole on the upper surface of the connector, in order to determine connection position from that position.
CONSTITUTION: Terminal process of every core line 4 of a multi-core line wire 3 is performed by a core line peeling mechanism 1 and a core line terminal process mechanism 2, and a core line is kept in good order according to the order of next connection by a core line holder 5. Connection position of a connector 7 that is fixed on an X-Y table 6 is detected accurately by a laser sensor 8, and the connector 7 is moved to the connection position by controlling the X-Y table 6 based on the coordinate that is enumerated by a control computer 9. If it is a connector with a solder, a pot 10' is heated by a soldering iron 10 so as to solve a spare solder in the pot. One of the core lines 4 in the holder 5 is picked up by forceps 11 to pass it to a manipulator 12 to perform connection for the core line 4.
