Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve slurry transportation greatly by controlling the amount of fresh supply water corresponding to the amount of slurry discharged from a mixing tank, and thus maintaining the slurry concentration on the suction side of a slurry pump at a set value all the time. CONSTITUTION:When solid slurries are discharged from the opening of a mixing tank 6 in quantities, the slurry concentration of a suction pipe 7 increases above a set valve. At this time, the pressure of the pipe 7 and a discharge pipe 13 rise, which is detected at a part 14, thereby supplying the detection result to a controller 15. The controller 15 compares pressure which corresponds to the set value of the slurry concentration with the pressure from the detector 14, and supplies a control signal for the opening of a valve corresponding to deviation pressure to a flow control valve 12. Then, the control valve increase the amount of fresh supply water from a pump 11 for fresh water supply to approximate the slurry concentration in the suction pipe 7 to the set concentration.
