Abstract:
To correct a gap between an excessively worn brake shoe and a drum.SOLUTION: An automatic correction device includes a fixed seat, a housing, a connection sliding seat and a rotary guide mechanism. The housing is pivotally installed in the fixed seat. The connection sliding seat is freely movable along an inner diameter cavity of the housing. A one-way bearing is fixed on one end face of the connection sliding seat and an adjustment screw is fit into the one-way bearing. A connection part connected to a brake cable is provided on the other end face of the connection sliding seat. The rotary guide mechanism includes a guide rod and a guide groove to be fit correspondingly mutually. The guide rod and the guide groove are installed on the housing and the connection sliding seat, respectively. The guide groove includes a straight groove and an oblique groove that are mutually connected. When tension of the brake cable reaches a predetermined value, the connection sliding seat is rotated at one angle to rotate the adjustment screw, increase an initial angle of a brake arm, and correct a gap of a spread drum brake.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
